Ayuko Suzuki Cup Hornokuni ・ Toyohashi Half Marathon 2025" October 8 （ Tue ） General Entries Now Open ！.

Ayuko Suzuki （, a native of Toyohashi City, Aichi Prefecture and a representative of the women's marathon team at the Tokyo Olympics, will serve as honorary chairperson of the "Ayuko Suzuki Cup Ho-no-kuni ・ Toyohashi Half Marathon 2025" on March 23, 2025 （, starting and finishing at Toyohashi Athletic Field （, Imabashi-cho ）, Toyohashi City. We have been accepting entries from many people since September 20 (Fri.) through tax payment and other means. Today, October 8 （, we have started accepting entries from the general public. In order to make the event even safer and more secure ・ we are extending the period of "Honokuni Running Supporter" and also extending the acceptance of Hometown Tax Payment.

New this year, an 800 ㍍ race for elementary school students will be held on the day before the event, making it a two-day event for both adults and children. ！



This is a rare half marathon where you can run alongside streetcars while touring around Toyohashi's famous landmarks and scenery

The course is one of the attractions of this event. 21 ． 0975 ㌔ The course will take you through the northern part of Toyohashi, passing through the city center where you can run alongside the streetcar, one of the attractions of this event, and past cherry blossom trees and the countryside with the towering Ishimaki Mountain. One of the features of this event is that runners are provided with strawberries and mini-tomatoes at the water stations, which is unique to Toyohashi, located in one of the best agricultural areas in Japan, so that they can fully experience Toyohashi ！





. Ho-no-kuni ・ Toyohashi Half Marathon aims to be the safest ・ event in Japan

This is the 15th Ho-no-kuni ・ Toyohashi Half Marathon. This year's event will also feature first-aid stations equipped with AEDs in approximately every 300 ㍍ locations along the course. Running supporters recruited from participants will run together to call out to those who are not feeling well and contact first aid points, and medical personnel will also participate as medical runners.

Ayuko's wish "Elementary 800 ㍍

On the day before the competition, an 800 ㍍ race will be held for elementary school children. Winners will receive an original medal （ scheduled ） for the competition, designed by Ayuko. Message to runners from Ayuko Suzuki, Honorary Chairperson



This is the 15th HONOKUNI ・ Toyohashi Half Marathon. I have been crowned the winner since the last time, and with the support of many people, I have been able to make a new start. I would like to express my heartfelt thanks. The smiling faces of the runners and the warmth of the local people cheered me up. I hope to continue to do my best to make this the safest, most supportive, and most fun event in Japan for everyone from adults to children. New this time, we will hold an 800 meter race for elementary school students the day before the event. In the Hibino Award Chunichi Toyohashi Marathon, the predecessor of the Hobinokuni Half Marathon, an 800-meter race called the "Chibikko Carnival" was held at the same time, and I have participated in this race since the 3rd grade. It was one of the races that I still remember because I could experience the fun of running with children of different grades and the tension of the race. I would be very happy if the children became interested in running. The Toyohashi Half Marathon usually rains a lot. Of course we hope it will be sunny, but even if it rains, the important thing is passion （ Passion ）.

Let's all work together to create a marathon that will make you say "I'm glad I ran ！" and "Let's do it again tomorrow ！" while feeling the charm of Toyohashi with your whole body ！ ！.
