Against a backdrop of blue hydrangeas, the oakleaf hydrangeas were blooming beautifully with white flowers. This is also a scene from Shinkō-ji Temple.

This is a variety called “Konpeito” among the hydrangeas at Shinkō-ji Temple, and its blue color is particularly beautiful. Its shape looks just like that traditional Japanese candy.

Right now, many colorful hydrangeas are in bloom at Shinkō-ji Temple. This variety is called “Dance Party,” and its deep pink color is absolutely beautiful.

These are lacecap hydrangeas blooming at a small shrine near the Kofudai Housing Complex. The blue flowers stand out beautifully against the blue sky.

It’s that time of year when you can enjoy all kinds of hydrangeas. One evening, I casually snapped a photo of some lacecap hydrangeas blooming by the roadside.

There is never a shortage of flowers at Sodegaura Park. Right now, the park is ablaze with colorful hydrangeas.

The scenery in Ichihara City looks just like a highland somewhere. This is a cluster of ragweed.
Correction: After looking it up, I found out this is actually called "butana," an invasive species that closely resembles a dandelion. Apparently, it’s also known as "dandelion-like plant." My apologies.

It is a native violet. Many of them bloom around the fields. The flowers are so small that they are difficult to photograph without a macro lens.

The irises in a nearby park are in full bloom. Summer will soon be here.
