KIKU's transmitting base station is on the west side of the island, on top of the mountain in Kapolei.

My antenna is about 10 years old and made by Amazon.

First, why not buy a mattress cover or base cover from Walmart or Home Depot?

The vendor told us that if the bed is directly on the floor, we should pull a carpet under the bed that has about 20-30 cm more room than the bed, and
sprinkle diatomaceous earth powder on top of it. If bedbugs come in contact with the diatomaceous earth powder when they crawl on it, they will die of dehydration.
The contractor used their own diatomaceous earth powder, which is probably of better quality, but HomeDepot and others also sell diatomaceous earth powder for bed bugs.

I think it was about a week from discovery until the contractor came
I wrapped double-sided tape around the sides of the mattress to catch the bed bugs that were crawling up. I think it reduces the number that come up to the bed.

Some people on the internet are trying to get rid of them themselves.
