たとえば1100ドルだったら、小切手にはOne thousand One hundred って書く？それともEleven Hundreds?

Eleven Hundredsじゃなくて、Eleven Hundredが正しいです。
そのあとに、（複数形の）Dollarsが来ますので。

オカマ！さん！偉い！尊敬！
日本なら漢字で書く場合「壱千壱百」しかないけど、アメリカは様々ですね。
でも、25ドルをQuarter Hundredとか、90ドルをTen to Hundredとかは言わない(書かない)ですよね。あたりまえか。

One thousand one hundred dollarsが正解ですが、Eleven Hundred dollarsでも正しく処理されるはずです。ただし、なぜ英文で書く必要があるのか考えると数字の$1100を$11.00と間違えたり$1100.99もしくは$11,000.00などと後で第三者によって書かれないないようにするためです。だとすると前記の書き方の方が教育水準の低い人にもわかりやすいのでは無いかと思います。

最近目の下にしわが出てきてしまいました。どなたかいいアイクリーム知りませんか？ 今使ってるやつは今ひとつ効いてないような気がするんです。
お勧めのアイクリームがあれば、出来れば値段もおしえてください。

ポーラ、ノエビア、クイックスター・・・・とどこもお店で買えないですし、高いです。うちは下手にいろいろ使えないんで、仕方なく買っていますが、とりあえず効きます。高いけど、そのとりあえず分聞いてくれるので買いますね。

お豆腐が大好きなお友達と梅の花でランチをしようと思って梅の花のホームページをみたら梅の花ビバリーヒルズ店は8月31日をもって閉店するとありました。これは移転では無く閉店ですよね？まだ行った事が無かったので残念ですがどなたか豆腐料理の美味しいお店をご存知の方が居ましたらぜひ教えてください。

そう、今月で閉店ですよ。友人がバイトしてるから、残念がってます。
折角、LA Timesマガジンの表紙になってたり、他のUSの雑誌にも沢山取材やら広告やら出てたのに、、
これからって時だし、湯葉という新しい物が、アメリカ人にやっと浸透しかけてきてただけに、惜しいですね。
その露出のせいか、最近は非常に忙しく、顧客もついてきてたこのタイミングだけに、本当に惜しい！
オーナーには、もうちょっとだけ踏ん張ってもらえれば、「湯葉」という物が、「トーフ」と同じ様にスタンダードな食べ物として定着したかも知れないのに、、(？）
新しい文化の流れになるきっかけだっただけに、本当に悔まれます。
でも哀しいかな、日本の会社ゆえ、今までの数字結果だけに焦点あて、撤退をしばらく前に決めたようですね〜
出だしがスローだったのが、影響しちまいましたね。
あれだけ＄かけて大改装までしたのに、本当に勿体ない話です、、、

先週ランチにいきました。レストランは立派だけど、いまいちサービスは遅いし、値段は高いし料理もそれほどではなかったし、もう行くことはないと思っていましたが、閉めちゃうんですね。競争の激しいビバリーヒルズでもっとパンチのあるものでないとなかなかお客さんは来てくれないかもね。

語学学校や大学をやめて(正規の手続きで)日本に帰るまで、何日間アメリカに滞在できるのでしょうか？？ 車を売ったりアパートの契約などがあるので、少しでも長い方がいいのですが・・・
アメリカにはF-1 VISAで入ってきました。アメリカ国内で、観光ビザに切り替えるとかって可能でしょうか？どなたか詳しい方がいたら、情報お願いします。
