勤めている会社が業績不振で全社員の健康保険が一時的に凍結されました。 給料が減らない分、ベネフィットがなくなったということです。 そこでお伺いしたいのはみなさん、健康保険はどうされているのか、という事です。 会社の保険ではHMOでしたが保険料は月額$190でした。 家内はPPOに入っていますが、これにファミリーとして一緒に入ったほうが良いのでしょうか？ それとも独自にHMOを持っていたほうが良いのか？ または海外旅行傷害保険にこちらで加入できれば一番良いですよね。 どうするのが一番でしょうか？ ご意見お聞かせ下さい。

HMOとPPOはシステムが違います。一般的に単独で加入するよりも家族で加入した方が、安くなると思います。こちらで住んでいる以上、海外旅行保険の加入は、契約違反になるはずです。確かに、帰国の度に手続きをしている方がいると聞きますが。ここで聞くより、代理店にでも聞いたほうが早いです。

奥さんがＰＰＯに入っているということは、奥さんも働いてて旦那さんとは別に保険があったということですよね。
それなら、それに家族として入ったら一番いいと思いますよ。
独自にＨＭＯを持っていたほうがよいのか？とのことですが、人好き好きだと思います。絶対ＨＭＯのシステムのほうが好きだ！というならそうですし、ＰＰＯでいいやというのなら、それでいいのではないでしょうか？ＰＰＯのほうが月額高いし、自己負担額も高いけど、便利ですよね。
もしも、値段だけを重視するのであれば、自分でＨＭＯに入ると月額いくらになるのか、また奥さんのＰＰＯにファミリーとして入るなら月額がいくらあがるのか、調べてみて決めてはいかがでしょう。
