夏にアメリカ市民との結婚を控えています。
籍はこちらで入れて日本でビザの手続きをしようと思っていますが、こちらで何かできることありますか?
I-130?とか集める書類はどこで手に入るのでしょうか?直接INS行かないといけないのでしょうか?
あと籍を入れるのをカリフォルニアかネバタかで迷っています。こちらは州によって手続きの仕方が変わってくると聞いたことあるんですが、具体的にどう違うんでしょう?
どなたかご存知の方、教えてください。

アメリカには戸籍はありません。多分、結婚する際の結婚証明書のことをおっしゃっているのでしょうか？
また、日本の法律上、外国で結婚した場合、婚姻の日付から３ヶ月以内に管轄の総領事館へ婚姻を届け出る義務があります。それと同時に戸籍が作成されますが、外国人が日本の戸籍に入ることは、帰化しない限り不可能です。

私も、日本に帰ってグリーンカードを申請するのですが、申請の際に日本の入籍後の新戸籍を提出しなくてはいけないので、日本の戸籍上独身にはなれません。グリーンカードの申請をしないなら話は別ですが。。。

私はこっちで籍いれたよ。(#5さんの言ってるサーティフィケイトの事ね。)
で、こっちでＧＣも手続きしました。
だから日本の戸籍上は独身のままです。
確かに#5さんが言ってような法律があることは知ってるけど、実際届けてない子も周りには一杯いるけどね。

最後の面接のときに、日本で入籍した後に作成された日本人が世帯主になってる新しい戸籍抄本必要じゃなかったですか？日本の在米大使館だったから、違うのかなあ。。

ええ、いりませんよ、日本で申請するのとは書類も違ってるので。
だって、ずっと日本に帰ってない人だっているでしょう?
