Yokosuka Peace Project ！ held

Following last year's event, we will hold this year's event again to encourage the younger generation to recognize the preciousness of peace and to take an interest in the city government. This event was planned in collaboration with the city's high school students and young city officials.

The theme of this year's event is "Circle of Smiles, Toward the Future"

The theme reflects the idea that the accumulation of small happiness and smiles around us will lead to peace now and in the future.

Event Summary

(1)Workshop 17:00 ～ 17:45 (Nature ・ Museum of Humanities)

・ Wish Tree* and glow You can participate in making Uchiwa (Japanese paper fan).

*Wish Tree: An art work to decorate a tree with ribbons with thoughts of peace

・ The completed Wish Tree will be introduced at a ceremony.

・ Glowing fans will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, until all materials are used.

* Classical concert will be held from 5:45 pm.
