Hello.
If anyone can help me out, I would appreciate your advice.

I have a 1 year old dog and I am thinking of having him spayed, but my regular hospital, Ali hospital, quoted me $800-$1000 for the spay.
I contacted another hospital, King street hospital, and they said it would be $600-700. I was recommended to go to Humane society, but I was wondering if anyone has had a spay at Humane society ？
or if anyone has any recommendations for a less expensive hospital ？
Thank you. Thank you very much.

I definitely do not recommend it. I would never recommend it, because once my cat got it because of its cheap price and I had a terrible experience with it.
If it is only for vaccinations and such, I think there is no problem. When I ask my friends and acquaintances, there are two types of people: those who say that it is inexpensive and recommend it, and those who shake their heads and say that they don't recommend it. I am the latter.
If you are going to spend a lot of time in the future, I think you should ask around by word of mouth or other means and make your decision.

By the way, we have VCA and we are in VCA's care club.
It's a little different from insurance, and it's about $50-$80, depending on the age of the dog or cat, but vaccinations, annual check-ups, etc. are free.
I don't know for sure since they are already a year old, but since they were in the care club, they were also spayed/neutered free.

I rescued a dog from the Humane society and it has been neutered there.
No problem.
Or Aina haina pet hospital also does neutering for a reasonable price.

I'm King Street now, but I've had both Blue Cross and King Street neutered, since I have four of them.
My impression is that they are both the same. Both were nice and friendly. But the prices were so different that I wished we had all gone to Blue Cross.
One of them went to VCA for medical care, but it was too expensive and I couldn't continue. I was very happy with this place too, but....
The care club was also quite expensive since my dog is a senior. We ended up going to King Street now.

They have created a vaccine patch that looks like an adhesive bandage.
It would be nice to have something useful like that.
