Certainly such a theory would hold true if one only looked at the map, but in reality there have been such moves in the past, including by Japanese manufacturers.

About 30 years ago, the now-defunct Sanyo Electric Co. started production of color TVs and small air conditioners by building a factory on the other side of the border. But then China emerged as the "world's factory" and the border business seems to have disappeared.

Now, I wonder what direction the world will take when this pandemic is completely over.

Even though China is rising and we have our eyes on them,
if we were making it in China, what we are doing and what we do don't mesh.

How can you be ok with thinking you can drink milk once opened even after about 2 months in May ？
I would throw it away if you don't drink it within 3 days after opening.　I heard that people who got food poisoning from milk suffered a great deal, so ､ I would never drink it ！
You'd better drink it at least a week after opening ？ I made two batches of royal milk tea the next day and used up the rest.　
If you are going to make stew again, you can use all that milk to make more and freeze that stew and eat it 2 weeks later

Milk is a brand ､ if you don't care about taste, you can buy the smallest one at Ralph's or something for less than 2 ＄ ｡
I don't want to get food poisoning from drinking old milk for $4.00 💦

google anything, like expiration dates on frozen bread ｡ it's faster than asking here ｡

You could freeze the milk, too. ？ You could buy it when you make a stew and freeze the rest right after you make it. You could freeze it standing up and then lay it on its side when frozen and store it in the freezer.

You say $4 for the smallest one, but if it's under 500ml, you can get the same brand as Topix for $ 1.75 or so. ＄ I bet you could buy a gallon or so for 4 ？

Some items are labeled to be consumed as soon as possible regardless of the expiration date once opened ｡ I don't mind eating sweets and instant foods, but I'm afraid to eat milk, meat and other living things weeks after they've been opened.
