Kawasaki City 100th Anniversary] Inclusive Music Live "Various Neiro JAM" will be held.

In 2024, Kawasaki City celebrates its 100th anniversary as a city.
With the key message of "Various Negroes", Kawasaki City is developing an "Inclusive Music Project" in which anyone can participate regardless of disability or musical experience at schools, facilities, events and other familiar places in the city.
As part of "Kawasaki Jazz", we will hold an inclusive music live "Various Negro JAM", where professional musicians and participants from the general public will perform music created together.

5 Inclusive Music Live "Various Neiro JAM

◎Event where everyone can experience the joy of being united through music as a member of a session, even if they cannot play an instrument or read music, and where many people can see how diverse people enjoy music freely.

◎Sessions that transcend the boundaries of disability, musical experience, professional/amateur, and musical genres.

Drake ・ Ben of Music ・ Sellers, both professional musicians trained to lead musical experiences that are inclusive of diverse people, will support the public participants to create music that everyone can enjoy as they are. The goal is to create music that can be enjoyed by everyone.

UK Arts For over 25 years, Drake ・ Music has been working towards a society where people with disabilities have the same opportunities, choices and support to participate in musical activities as people without disabilities, and where they can flourish as musicians on an equal footing. In addition to providing accessible music services for people with disabilities of all ages, the organization also provides training for musicians and cultural institutions to improve access to music for people with disabilities. They also develop new, technologically advanced, accessible instruments for musicians with disabilities. They have also been active in creating opportunities for musicians, business people, technologists, and designers to meet, exchange new ideas, and prototype, and their cross-disciplinary efforts have attracted attention in the UK and abroad.
