Shinagawa Ward to hold "Bouldering Fest" at Shinagawa Central Park Bouldering Rink

On June 2, Shinagawa Ward will hold a "Bouldering Fest" at Shinagawa Central Park （ Nishi-Shinagawa 1, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo ） bouldering rink. There will be a talk event （ by Olympian Keiyo Noguchi, who supervises this facility, and others ） free participation as well as a hands-on class （ requiring advance registration ）.
Experience a new way to enjoy sports by experiencing an Olympic sport ？

Venue ： Shinagawa Central Park Bouldering rink （ In front of Ward Office ）

◆10:00 ～ 10:50 Talk Event *Open to all
◆11:00 ～ Noon Bouldering Class ① *Register in advance
◆1pm ～ 2pm Bouldering Class ② *Apply in advance
◆2:30pm ～ 3:30pm Bouldering Class ③ *Apply in advance

Eligibility ： Residents ・ Residents ・ 4th graders and above （ Elementary school students accompanied by their parents ）

About Shinagawa Central Park Bouldering Rink
Bouldering is an urban sport in which participants climb a wall using stones called holds to reach a goal. At the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, sport climbing was adopted for the first time as a combined event of bouldering ・ lead ・ and speed.

Last April, Shinagawa Ward opened a new bouldering arena in Shinagawa Central Park so that people, especially children, can casually enjoy this sport.

The bouldering wall has a low-height free area and a 4-meter high paid area. The paid area is divided for individual use ・ and group use depending on the day of the week, and an awning has been installed for use even in the rain.
