どなたか、洋服のお直しが上手なお店しっていませんか??
買ったワンピースの裾を短くしたいのですが、前にスカートのすそ上げをアジア系の方がやっているお直しにだしたら裾の長さがぐちゃぐちゃになって返ってきたので。。怖くて。。
良いお直し屋さんを知っていたらどうか教えてくださいm(__)m

洋服の「お直し」という日本語、オカシイとお考えになりませんか?修繕でしょう。何でも彼でも接頭語の「お」を付けると、言葉が品下がりいたします。ご自分の服は「お直し」より「修繕」が相応しいはずですが。

お直しで日本語あっていますよ！すそ上げなら寸法直し。修繕なら穴が開いた、破れた、のほうに理解されてしまいますからね。日本では”お直し屋”っていいますし、そういう名前のお店ありますから。

明治のおばあちゃんがよく“この服もお直し頼もうかね”といっていました。和服です。
日本の歴史を生きていた人は今でも和装は“修繕”と言わず“お直し”といっています。
逆にこの言葉を知っているトピ主さん、凄いと思いました。
