ドライバーズライセンスのRENEWALをするの忘れて、今１週間たってますが、これって、また筆記試験、実技試験など、始めから受けなおさないといけないのでしょうか？そして、新しいのをRENEWALする際に、PENALTYとかチャージされるのでしょうか？？普通ならMAILで、更新の知らせが来るはずなのですが、引越しを数回したため、届きませんでした。どなたか同じ経験された方教えてください！

ゴメンナサイ、私もその辺よく解りませんが
前回は期限内に更新に行ってすんなりもらう事ができたので勝手に遅れたせいだと思ってました。
私もいきなりだったので全く勉強はして行ってませんが基本的な内容ですので大丈夫でしたよ。

私の彼は１ヶ月以上遅れて更新手続きをしましたがテストを受けることもペナルティもなく１０日程で新しいライセンスが届きましたよ。
私が期限が切れる前に更新に行ったときのことですが、違反も事故も無いのでテストを受ける必要はないと思っていたのにテストを受けるように言われ、確認すると向こうの勘違いのようでテストは必要ありませんでした。
DMVも人やその時によって言うことが違ったりするのできちんと確認したほうがいいですよ。

噂で免許更新にI-20を提示するとかって聞いたような？？ 本当はどんな書類を持っていけば、すんなり更新できるんですか？

こんばんわ、トビ主です。今日DMVに更新しに行ってきました。２時間も自分の番が来るのを待ったのに、手続きは経ったの１０分で終わっちゃいました。提出するものは期限が切れたDLとRenewal のアプリケーションのみでした。あと写真を撮って終わりでした。I-20の提出などありませんでした。私はこの３年違反がなかったので、テストを受ける必要はありませんでしたが、過去に違反があれば、多分筆記を受けないといけないのでは？
