日本のテレビ何年も見てなかったので、ふなっしーのことを知ったのはつい最近なんですが、すぐに大好きになりました。ここではまだ知らない人もいると思うけど、日本では大人気みたいですね。
来週１２日～１７日までふなっしーがアメリカに来る予定ですが、イベントではなくて何かの撮影らしいので、どこで何やるかわかりません。LA辺りに来るような気もしますが、誰か情報知ってる方いませんか?ふなっしーに会ってみたいです。
それと、ふなっしーグッズ買える所OCでありますか?ミツワに行ってみたけれどやっぱりありませんでした。Ebayでいくつかあったけど。
情報お願いします！
あらかじめ言っておくけど、ふなっしーの悪口言う人はコメント書かないで下さい！

ググると、ふなっしーのアルファベットのスペルは、トピ主さんのと同じようですが、
こちらの人にサウンドからスペルしてもらうと、大分違ったものになるような気がします。
例えば、Fnat-she とか。
東京の東の外れで生まれ育った私には、船橋は行動の守備範囲だったので、
他のユルキャラよりずっと親しみがあります。未だに非公認ってぇのもおもしろいですね。

昭和のおとっつぁんさん、ふなっしーは梨の妖精で地域の色んなイベントに出ていて、テレビでは色んなショーにゲストとして出ていたり、TVコマーシャルにも出ていたり、CD, DVDに商品もいっぱい出したりしてます。
見たままの発音と、実際の発音が違う名前や言葉いっぱいあります。
Funassyiは名前なので、スペルは名付けた人の好みでいいんじゃないですか。
私の名前も長くない（リンジーとかそんな感じ）けど、１０通りくらいスペルあります。ポピュラーなのはそのうち３つくらいですけどね。
エドッコ３さん、船橋良い所そうですね、私も行ってみたいな。ららぽーとって行った事ありますか?ふなっしーはららぽーと公認キャラクターになったみたいです。船橋市のほうは、もうふなっしーが非公認のほうが好き勝手できていいから、そのままがいいって言ってるので、公認になることはなさそうですね。

リトルTOKYOへ行ったら、くまもんグッズがたくさん売ってました。ふなっしーは、ぜんぜん見ませんでした。LAでは、くまもんがはやっているの?
財布やキーHOLDER、抱き枕もありました。

売れなければ店頭に並べずに当然売れる商品を並べる。
崖っぷちばかりひな壇に並べても誰もお持ち帰りしない。
