はじめまして。
こちらのお寺について教えてください。
日本と違って、何時でも、好きな時に参拝出来る訳ではないのでしょうか?
Pasadena Buddhist Templeとは、お寺なんですよね?
たまたまネットで見つけたので、これ幸いと思い、初詣に行ったのですが、
元旦から閉まっていました。
それから、お寺なのに、日曜日にService（礼拝）があったり、Bible Studyが
あったり、私には、どうしても仏教のお寺とは思えないのですが、 在米のお寺は、
何処も、そのような感じなのでしょうか?
そもそも、Bible Studyって、お寺で聖書の勉強をしているの?と首を傾げる
ばかりです。
ここのお寺には、日本から派遣されて来ている住職さんは居ないのでしょうか?
やはり、Little Tokyoまで、出向かなければ駄目なのでしょうかね?

リトル東京界隈のお寺（東本願寺、西本願寺、禅宗などなど）に一度聞かれてみるのがよろしいかと。
地方へ行きますとお寺といっても来られる方は日系人が多く、会話は英語でしょうから、サンデーサービスやバイブルという言葉が出てくるのだと思います。バイブルは聖書ではなく、教典ということでしょうね。
よく羅府新報にも南加全体の寺院や教会の一覧が載っていますからそこから探してもいいかもしれませんが。
初詣に関して言えば、リトル東京でも高野山くらいではないでしょうか。
