ルームメイトを助けたいです。僕は、カップルといっしょに一つのアパートに住んでます。二人とも南米出身で今年一月に婚姻届を提出しているのですが、旦那がアプライしていないため奥さんは永住権もＳＳＮも持ってません。いわゆる不法滞在です。旦那のほうはアメリカ市民権を保持しています。アプライすれば言いだけの話ですが、こないだガン再発で帰らぬ人となってしまいました。今だに信じられないです。悲しすぎます。奥さんも立ち直れないくらい悲しんでらっしゃいます。これからどうしたらいいかわからないと・・・。しかし、彼女はロスにいたいそうなので、僕が少しでも力になれればと思い、ここに掲示させて頂きました。彼女は、一人でＳＳＮを取得することができますか？夫の預金は、彼女のものですか？それとも、夫の両親か親族のものですか？このような質問を掲示させて頂く事を深くお詫びいたします。読んでくださったみなさまを不快にさせてしまって本当に申し訳ございません。

でもなんでそんなに大事な事を真っ先にやらなかったのでしょうか?

ステイタスってアメリカで生きていく上で最も基盤となるものです。
市民との結婚だったら1年未満でGC取得できたはずなのに。
GCを申請するのはスポンサーになる人の方ですからアプリカント亡き後は難しいんじゃないですか?
3年分のTaxリターンや収入証明が必要ですし何よりも「結婚が存続している事」が条件です。
結婚後に蓄えた財産は奥さんの物になると思いますよ。
