みなさんはこちらで買ったジーパンなどの裾が長すぎた場合どこで裾あげをしてますか？どこかお薦めか教えてください！やはり自分でミシンでやるべきなのでしょうか…。

近所のクリーニング屋さんにお願いしてます。裾上げの仕方も色々とお願いできるし、どの店も技術的に対して変わりなかった。
こちらでは、クリーニング屋が仕立てなどをやってるところが多いです。店の窓ガラスにミシンの絵が描いてあったり、「alteration」と書いてあります。
ジーンズは頼んだこと無いので仕上がりのほどはわかりませんが。

私は旦那さんのお母さんがやってくれますが（ラッキーですね）、家族でこっちにいるアジア人の子の家には大抵ミシンがあるそうです。多分すそ上げがたくさんですしね。アジア人ちいさいし。友達に聞くのも１つの手かもしれませんよ。

サンタモニカのミツワの横にある日系のクリーニング屋さんで値段を聞いたところ、ジーンズの裾上げは１２ドルとのことでした。
“え〜高い！”って思ったのでコリア
タウン近くの韓国系クリーニングでも値段を聞いたところ、日系の半額６ドルでしたので頼みました。丁寧な仕上がりで満足しています。
