お知恵を貸して下さい！
DV-2012にそろそろ応募しようとHPを見ると、今年はあさってで締め切りになっていて大変焦っています。
（去年まで12月の1週目が締め切りでしたよね?）
デジカメで撮った写真を「解像度 600(高さ)x600(幅)ピクセル」にしようと、Microsoft Office Picture Managerで、『画像の編集』→『サイズ変更』で何度も試みていますが、どうしても600x539ピクセルになってしまい、正方形（600x600）になりません。
Googleで検索してみましたが、Photoshopを持っていない私にできる案は見つけられませんでした。
のんびりしていた私が悪いのですが、どなたか助けていただけませんか?

デジカメの写真は長方形なので縦横比を維持したまま縮めても正方形になりません。
何でも良いので画像加工ソフトで正方形に切り取る必要があります。
Microsoft Office Picture Managerでは、「図」ツールバー内の「トリミング」をサイズ変更とあわせて使ってください。

見知らぬ人に顔写真を送る必要はありません。
まずペイントで開いて必要部分を切り取り、それからリサイズしましょう。 私はその方法で６００×６００ピクセルにおさめました。
