こんにちは。現在ダウンタウンにある学校に通い、F-1 visaでアメリカにステイしているものです。５月から新しい学校に行くことを考えているのですが、今日でvisaに必要である、i-20が停止するため数週間ほどダウンタウンのから近い語学学校か何かにトランスファーし(今日行います）、新しい学校からi-20がおりるまでとりとめておく必要があります。そこで、格安な語学学校を探しています。（期間は１ヶ月以下）また、ダウンタウンで安く安全なアパートを探しています。耳寄り情報やアドヴァイスなど頂けたら嬉しいです。

語学学校なら新しい学校見つけてお金持っていけばトランスファーは出来るだろ
まぁ、その学校がちゃんと手続きするかどうかは入ってみないとわからないけどね

間違っていたらすみませんがひょっとしてカレッジなどの行きたい学校の次の入学時期(next available session)が５月なのでそれまでの間、Ｆ－１のステータスを維持するためだけに格安のESLに行くということでしょうか。
それでしたら５ヶ月以内(グレースピリオドも含めて）であれば学校に行っていなくても滞在できます。
次の学校の直近の入学可能時期(next available session)に入学することが条件です。
USCISのサイトで確認して下さい。
