コンドのカーペットをハードウッドフロアに変更しようと思っています。
HOAより下の階の住人から、パーミッションとサインをもらえば、ハードウッドフロアに変更が可能とのことです。
どのように英語で書けばいいのか、お助けいただけないでしょうか？
I, Unit #xxx, authorise upper floor resident #xxx to have hardwood floor.

もうOKを取ってるので、文書にしてもらうということ？ いきなり合意書など突きつけられたら怒りますよね。 私ならFloorの下にクッションをして（Extraのコストがかかります）コトコト歩く音が聞こえないようにしてくれないとお断りします。 Unitは人間でないので許可をだせないしサインできないので、まず主語を人間に変えないと。。

説明は口頭でする予定ですが、合意書に入れたほうがいいものでしょうか？ハードウッドに変えること自体は既にHOAから承諾をもらっているのですが、工事中に騒音がすることに対する同意書をもらうようにHOAに言われました。

その同意書とは相手のサインが必要なものなのでしょうか。単なる「アナウンスメント」程度のものでいいのではないでしょうか。誰しもこれにサインしろ、と言われたら皆たじろぎます。ここアメリカでは一発のサインで人生がひっくり返ることもあり得ますからね。
「こんな事が起きますが、どうぞ了承してください」と言うようなビラを作り、前後左右のユニットのドアに差し入れるだけでいいと私は思います。HOA がこう言ったから必ず守らなければならないって状況ではないでしょう。その「同意書」とは英語でどんな単語でしたか。
