こんにちは
駐在員の方にお聞きしたいです。
最近コロナの影響で、駐在員を日本へ返せば
年収15万ドルは削減できるのに、何故、年収4万ドルの安い現地社員をレイオフするのか分かりません。
友人からも聞きますが、何をやってるか分からない人も多いとか？
上司が言ってましたが、駐在員は日本のポジションが決まるまで帰れないというのは本当でしょうか？
駐在員1人が帰国すれば、何人もの現地社員が救われます。

＞スーパーに行ったって、日本の方がサービスは圧倒的に高い。レストランも同じく。会社でも働き方は日本人の方が断然優れてる。
＞アメリカは国としては、素晴らしいです。
ですが、ビジネスマンの能力で考えると、かなり低レベルだと思いますよ。

平均的に日本人は優れているけど、アメリカ人の中には突出して優れている人がいる。
下手くそな英語を話しても全く理解できない人間がいるが、一瞬で下手くそな英語も理解できる頭の回転が早い人間もいる。
だらだらと権利だけ強要して働かないようなイメージがあるけど、やる時は死ぬ気で本気を出して働く人間もいる。
アメリカのプロスポーツを見れば素人目から見ても分かるだろう。

誰かが仰る通り、アメリカ人の方が、特出して能力が高い人がいるのは事実だと思いますが、全体的な能力で見ると日本人の方が優れていると思いますよ。
私はアメリカが好きですが、この国が全てだとは思いません。ここにいる所謂アメリカナイズされてる人達はアメリカが至高と考え過ぎです。
上記にある通り、アメリカ人は個々の役割が非常に明確な為、アメリカという場においては力を発揮しますが、他の国にいけば、全く使い物になりません。スポーツも同じく。
人口、国土（資源はちょっとわからんが）の観点から、あと10年もすれば、中国、インドを筆頭にアジアの時代が来ます。
そうなると、今のアメリカのままでは間違いなく世界から取り残されるということを皆さん理解しましょ。
