Vivinavi Los Angeles教えてください。オポッサン(OPOSSUM)退治方法

裏庭に猫より大きなオポッサン(OPOSSUM・POSSUM)が夜、出没します。
猫を飼っているのでかまれたら狂犬病になるとも聞いています。
なるべく夜はださないようにしていますが夜中に出たがります。
又小さな畑できゅうりやトマトを栽培していますが収穫前のきゅうりを全部食べられてしまい頭にきています。
退治する何か良い方法はないでしょうか?アニマルコントロールに電話しても怪我や病気の生き物以外は対応しないというので自分で対応できる方法を探しています。
どなたが得策をご存知でしたらご教授してください。

猫に狂犬病予防注射を必ずしましょう。

こわ-い！あの顔見ただけで、イヤーな気持ちになる。
アライグマは、可愛いと思うけど、実際は、曲者で猫を攻撃とか。
前、情報掲示版で、弱い電流を流して、寄せ付けるのを防止する物を売って居た人いますよ。確か個人売買にでも出してたんじゃ?つい3週間位前。まだ、売れてないかもしれないから、あたってみたら、どうでしよう。
あと、ナーサリーや、HomeDepoの店員に聞くとか。

私の勝手な考えですが、猫や Raccoon と違って高いところには登れないので、外から来る Opossum で、塀などで囲まれている庭であれば、あと、歩いて入れる部分に金網を張るだけで十分じゃないでしょうか。金網の高さも 2 Feet もいりません。
歯は鋭いですが、動作は鈍く臆病なので、大きめの犬がいたら近づきません。

その辺の人達はオポサッム食べるんで喜んで捕まえてくれますよ。
うちのご近所さんはそんな人で ”出たよ〜” って呼ぶと速攻来てくれます。一度俺にもごちそうしてあげるよ、と言われてますが毎回ウマいことパスしてます。＃５さんと同じであの顔は怖いです。食べるなんて、、、無理です。
