My son attends Iolani and my nephew attends Montessori Community School.
Iolani is an academic school. I was torn between Punahou and Iolani, but decided on Iolani after seeing where their graduates went to college.
Punahou is more socialized and focuses on sports.
Le Jardin is controversial, so I chose … Le Jardin.
I heard that many kids who didn't get into Iolani or Punahou go to Midpak.
In fact, it would be easier to understand the school's color
if you go on a school tour ！.

I have recently learned that there are as many Montessori kindergartens as Starbucks in the mainland (the quality varies and you have to be discerning), but in Hawaii, even getting your child into a Montessori education is a very difficult thing to do.

I was surprised to read the other kindergarten topics that you mentioned … I am in culture shock.
I guess there are many places where even kindergarten is not easy to get into, even if you want to get in at the last minute. You have to decide your target school in advance and choose a kindergarten … It's almost like taking an entrance exam in Japan.

I was not the one who conducted the funeral, I only attended three funerals of relatives, but all three were at different funeral homes.

The casket was carried in a cart.
The graves were buried in the ground, but the radius of the grave was covered with a sheet so that no one could get close to it.
Before that, no one even tried to approach. We sat on chairs about 4 meters away, including the bereaved family. After the ceremony was over and the graves were entered, I have never experienced attendees pouring flowers and dirt on the graves like in the movie.
After entering the grave, we had refreshments, during which time the staff covered the grave with soil and placed the funeral offering on top of the grave, and the pattern was to go see it after the refreshments.

The employees who covered the graves with soil were in beige work clothes.
They were holding shovels, and I didn't feel uncomfortable, and
there were no complaints from anyone.
The person who died was a well-known, well respected authority in Hawaii, though.

I have been to many ceremonies here,
but I have never heard of people not being allowed around a dug hole,
and the workers were in work clothes.
But we have never had an MC who looked down silently,
distracted by the sound. I think that is too much of a mess.

I agree with #3. It may not be necessary by nature, but it depends on how you feel.
I might do the same, and if I were the recipient, I would be honestly happy. I don't care what others think.
