ちょうど今週、眼科に定期検診に行ってきました。
レシートを見るとExamが$115となってます。私は保険で$105引かれています。
もちろん眼鏡を作るなら、さらに検査が追加になります。
眼科に問い合わせてみてはどうでしょうか？
私はアラモアナビルの中にあるEye Care Associates of Hawaii を利用しています。受付には日本人の方もいて日本語で対応してくれる日系の先生もいますよ。

Correction and addition.
#4 reminded me that Cosco and Sam's, as I recall, don't have eye exams per se, just vision exams and tests to make glasses or contact lenses, so that's why they are cheaper. The Exam fee I mentioned before is the cost of the regular eye exam.
Contact Lens Fitting $ 85(I have insurance minus $ 25) Optomap Screeing $ 37(I am not sure what the heck this is. \I'm not sure what this is.
Also, my insurance will cover about ＄ 120 minutes a year to buy contact lenses or glasses.

今年の初めにカリフォルニアからラスベガスに引っ越してきました。
DMVのサイトで予約をして行きました。
免許の切り替えの筆記試験は免除されました。
書類の手続きと写真撮影をして、1〜2週間後に新しい免許証が郵送されてきました。

I think you can find out most of the information on the Internet, so if you want to know more, you should contact the U.S. Embassy in Japan or the Japanese Consulate in the U.S. and visit them.

Also, there are various groups on Facebook, etc. If you join a study abroad group, you may be able to get more realistic advice from people of similar ages or seniors who are close to your age.

I don't know this guy, so I can say this: he started the exact same topic almost 10 times, got deleted, and kept starting new topics without thanking the person who gave him long-winded and polite advice in the beginning. After being warned several times, I finally got to the point where I could say thank you. It can't be great. Not knowing is scary.

If the pattern is that the parents are illegal immigrants and the children are citizens, I don't see a problem, but I don't think the illegal immigrant or the person in question can.
