I'm sharing this because my child just recently went through a similar situation. There was an event in the mainland U.S. in the middle of the semester, and I had to attend that, so I took a week off.
I properly discussed it with all the professors in the class, and I remember that their reaction was not bad. Some said it was OK if I submitted a formal invitation to the event and did all the homework, while others said that proof was not required but the main prerequisite was to Catch Up on all the classwork to be Missed.
Some classes had tests during that time, but in that case, they put him alone on a different day （ I think they were afraid that other students would leak the information, so the test was moved up ）. It went surprisingly smoothly and cooperatively, probably because I usually tried to communicate with my professors as much as possible. However, it seems that Catch Up of the class contents during the vacation was quite difficult after you returned, but maybe it is not so difficult if you take a break for 3 or 4 days. Good luck ！

4-day leave of absence form to my department teacher.

The department teacher called me and told me to come to my office
as soon as I returned.
On the day I returned to school, before the class started, I received
all the materials for my absence from school from the department teacher.

娘が高橋塾に行って、プナホウとイオラニに合格しました。隣に他の生徒がいて気が散ると言う心配をされていますが、実際の受験の時を考えるとその方が訓練になったと思います。ADHD持ちで、集中力にかなりムラがあるのですが、プナホウの受験の時に、グループに分かれてサークルになって作業するテストの時に、同じようなお友達でいつも一緒に騒いでいる子と同じグループになって、かなり心配しました。終わったー(涙)って思ったくらいです。　でも、合格発表されて、アポイントをとってから結果を聞きに行った時に、「隣のお友達が声をかけてきた時に、今はテストだから終わったらお話しようねって言っていた。とメモ書きされてます」と言われました。　泣きそうでした　笑
塗り絵も、これ本当に娘ですか？？？って聞いたくらい、まぁ本当に丁寧に綺麗に塗ってありました。　静かな環境で家庭教師とかだったら、うちの娘みたいなタイプは、きっと無理だったんじゃないかと思います。
プナホウとイオラニではかなりカラーが違うので、色々悩む時期だと思いますが頑張ってください！
