今年の冬に車を借りて旅行に出ようと思ってるんですが、レンタカーの場合走行距離でお金を払うんでしょうか？それともレンタルした日数で払うのでしょうか？どなたか知っている方いらっしゃったら教えてください。

レンタカー屋さんによっても、違いがあると思いますが、私がレンタカーしたところはレンタカーした日数プラス走行距離でお金を払いました。でも一日に200マイルまではレンタカー代に含まれていたと思います。（これは会社によって違いがあるようです。）ちなみに私は日系の会社でした。

日数プラス走行距離ですか。私は、結構遠くまで出かける予定だったので、借りるときに同じような条件だったらグレハンかアムトラックを使おうと思います。VitaminCさん、教えてくださってありがとうございます。

探せば、Unlimited走行距離を提供してるレンタカー屋ありますよ。
友達はレンタカーをして、ネバタ、アリゾナまで行ってきましたよ。

冬休みに日本に帰って、Ｆ１ビザの更新をしようと思ってるんですけど、どれくらい時間がかかるんでしょう？？ちゃんとした大学にも通ってるしＳＥＶＩＳのＩ２０もあるので問題はないと思うんですが？ 誰か知ってる詳しい人いませんか？？

こんにちは。私は現在、アメリカで学生をしているのですが、SSNが無い為、銀行で口座を開くとき、クレジットカードが作れなかったのです。でも、ATMカードには、VISAが付いています。つい２日前にお店でそのカードを使用して買い物をしたのですが、今日、自分のアカウントの残高をチェックしてみると、２日前に購入した代金のお金がまだ引かれてないのです。
クレジットカードでは無く、ATMカードで支払いをしたのですが、自分の口座からお金が引き落とされるまで、どれくらい日数がかかるのでしょうか？

3-5日じゃないのかなあ。
今日あたり引かれているんじゃないかな？？
Debitカード（Check card)は長いこと使ってないから詳しくは忘れたけど。
あなたが持っているのは銀行によって名前は違うけど、DebitカードまたはCheckカードと呼ばれているよん。ATMカードというのは、ATM機能しかついていないカードをさします。

それと、Checkカード使用時だけでなく一般に、時々、ATMに出る残高が実際の額に更新されるのに時間がかかって、実際の残高以上に引き降ろしできちゃうこともありますよー。それで後でオバードラフト扱いにされちゃうこともあるので要注意。
CheckカードのVISAで買い物すると使用料はクレジットカードみたいに店の方にチャージされて、Debitカードとして使うと銀行によってリミットがあってフィーがかかるとかいろいろ有るみたいなので、ご自分の銀行口座のパンフレットをチェックした方がいいですよ〜。

わたしままだ一度もなく、日本に帰る前にナショナルパーク巡りをしたいなとおもってます。
ブレースキャ二オンとアーチーズは行きたいなとおもってます。

トピ「キャンプしたい！お奨めの場所は？」を覗いてみては。
LA から比較的近いとこだと Sequoia Notional Park があります。でも少し先の Yosemite National Park の雄大さにはかないません。
これらの言葉を Yahoo 等で捜せばいろいろな情報が得られますよ。

PCの調子が悪くって、すごく困っています。インターネットにつないでしばらくすると（一度に複数の作業をするタイミングが多いです）急に「svchost.exeを終了する」というエラーになってそれ以降は、文章をコピーしたり、移動したりという作業が一切できなくなってしまうのです。
無知なので、説明が足りないかもしれませんがすごく困っていますので詳しい方教えてくれませんか？メールも書いておきますので、知っている方メールください。
ちなみに、ウィルスの可能性があるのですが削除ツールが最後まで作動せず途中でエラーになってしまいます。
3日前ほどに初期化しましたが、すぐに同じ状況になってしまいました。
ウィルス対策ソフトは使っています。
よろしくお願いいたします。

メールアドレスよりももっと具体的に windows xp を使ってますとか、ウイルス対策には norton antivirus を入れました（でもアップデートしてません）とか書いた方がいいと思われます。

> Ctrl+F などを押しても検索画面が表示されない。
> 「メモリー不足」や「RPC エラー」で特定のアプリケーションが起動しない。
> Excel で「OLE は現在使用できません」といわれてファイルを開けない。
> コピー＆ペーストやドラッグ＆ドロップができない。
> 「アプリケーションの追加と削除」の中身が表示されない
> システム情報 (msinfo32) にシステムの情報が表示されない。
> %Systemroot% や Program Files フォルダを開いても中身が表示されない。
こういうことですか？
対処方法としては、さっきのページや
http://www.ipa.go.jp/security/topics/newvirus/msblaster.html
等を参考にすると良いでしょう。
どうしても心配だったら、あるいは上のページでは何のことを言ってるのか良く分からないようであれば、プロの人にたのんでみてください。

svchost.exe が出てクリック等が効かなくなるのは、Blaster Worm が原因のようです。
ウイルスソフトは常に最新の Definitions を DL しておかないと新しいウイルスは検知しません。
私の Norton AntiVirus 2003 は OE にウイルスやウォームが入ってくると自動的に弾いてくれます。

ハーレム周辺は確かに危険かもしれないけど、更に上に上がると閑静な住宅街になります。何丁目より上が危険で下が安全と言い切れないということです。

先日、日系の携帯屋に携帯を購入しに行くと６００ドルからデポジットがかかると言われました。
いくら１年後に返ってくるとしても学生にとってはとても高いです！
どこかデポジットを払わずに携帯を購入できるところはないでしょうか？
教えて下さい。お願いします！

SSNとクレジットヒストリーは
別っていうか、
SSN持ってるだけじゃヒストリーは作れませんよ。
こちらでクレジットカードを作るか、ローを組んで
だいたい６ヵ月後ぐらいにヒストリーはできます。
SSNがあれば、プリペイドの携帯は？
それか、スプリントがやっぱ安いよね。

今通ってるCSUNの近くに日本語が使える携帯屋さんがあって行ってみたんですけど、デポジットいりませんでしたけど。人によって違うんですかねえ。

私の韓国人の友人もいらなかったって言っていたんです・・・。
やっぱり場所によって違うのかな〜。
１年後に利子をつけて返す、ってある日系携帯屋の人が言っていたのですが、本当ですかね・・・。

2年前SSNもってなかったときにスプリントと契約しましたが、デポジットは取られませんでした。しかも安売りしているときに買ったので、本体も全額リファンドされてタダ。
今はシステムが替わってるのかな？ためしてみたら？

ダイアルアップを使っていますが、高速なものに変えうと思っています。
電話会社のDSLもしくはケーブルテレビのハイスピードインターネットのどちらがいいのでしょうか？
ケーブルテレビの場合、セットアップに人を派遣して50ドルぐらいかかるようですが自分でセットアップできるのでしょうか？

ガソリンスタンドとかでも看板が出てるところだと出来ますよ。けど、チェックだけって言うところも多いから、もしチェックで引っ掛かったらどこか口コミとかで信頼の置けるところに頼むと良いと思いますよ。
