もし、あなたが学生の方ならオフィスに行ってももらえないでしょう。学生の方なら、学校のインターナショナルのオフィスに行き、学内で働きたいなどの理由を言えば、レターをくれると思うので、そのレターをSSNのオフィスに持っていけば、もらえるはずです。

学校によっては、学内で働かなくてもSSNもらえる所もありますよ。でも、SSN持ってても、Historyがないと意味が無いみたいですけど･･･

欲しいといったら学校の必要書類をもってこいと言われて、持っていったら発行してくれました。行くたびにあれがない、これがないと言われ、２〜３度は往復しましたが・・・。

昨年結婚した家内が、名前の変更をしました。
最初にＳＳＮを取得した当時はまだ学生だったため、名前の変更のためには働ける
ＶＩＳＡ等を提示しなければならず、１回目は門前払い。
その後ワークパーミットが届いてから再度試みたらＯＫでした。
なんでもいいので情報を、ということなので書き込みました。お役に立たなかったらすみません。

エステシャンになりたいんですが、何かアドバイスをください。
どんな人に向いているとか、向いてないとか。
学校もどこがお勧めですか？Elegante Beauty Collegeはどうですか？
あとはABCとかしかわからないんですけど。
学費、時間とか教えてください。できたら日本人が多くいる所に行きたいです。私はLAに２０年ぐらいいて周りに日本人がいないので日本人がいた方が嬉しいです。

７月にティファナでF1ビザの更新手続きをしたいと思っています。ティファナでビザをとるための予約はしたのですが、肝心のconsulateの場所がはっきりわかりません。ティファナでビザ更新をされた方、consulateまでの地図等はどのように手にいれられましたか？アメリカでいうyahoo mapみたいなものは存在するのでしょうか？
また、国境近くまで車で行って、歩いて国境を越えるつもりなんですが、その後バス等に乗らなければいけないのでしょうか？それとも歩いてでもいける範囲でしょうか。
visa取得に100ドルかかるということなんですが、メキシコ内の指定の銀行に振り込むようにとの指示がありました。そのためには、アメリカ国内で一旦、ペソに換えてから行った方がいいのでしょうか？それとも、ドルのまま持って行っても大丈夫でしょうか？
どなたか情報をお持ちの方、教えてくださると嬉しいです！！

先日(2004年7月)、無事、ティファナでF1ビザの更新を終えて帰ってきました。１０時の面接で、お昼過ぎにはビザが発行されました。面接はものの３分くらいで、「何を勉強してるのか」といった雑談程度の質問をされただけでした。
ご助言いただいたように、ConsulateにはTaxiで行きました。Taxi代は10ドルでした。タコスもtryしてきましたよ。おいしかったです！

ティファナで更新された方、必要な書類等で質問ですが、残高証明は必要でしたか？その証明は日本の銀行のものでもいけるのでしょうか？取得されたかた詳しく教えてください。

残高証明は、必要書類の中にはありませんでしたが、念のため持っていきました。でも、結局見せませんでしたけどね。日本の銀行のものの場合は、訳とかを持っていけばいけると思いますが。

今コミカレに通っていて、transferする大学を探してるんですがbusiness(hotel managementまたはTourismのconcentration）でいい大学ってどこがありますか？
CSU,long beach/Fullerton、 San Diego Stateを今のところ候補に挙げているんですが、大きな違いってあるんでしょうか？
またCA外のUniversityに移りたい場合、大学間のagreementを調べる方法分かる方いますか？
