窓口へ直接行くと要領を得てない人が居て苦労する事もあると調べました。実際行った方いますか？
公証人を利用された方どちらで頼まれましたか？銀行内にも居るらしいのですが調べても出てきませんでした。知ってる方教えてください。

TAX IDですが、申請用紙とパスポートとかのコピーを送っても書類が足りないって何回も帰ってきてTELしても全然つながらなくってロングビーチのオフィスにパスポートを持って主人と行ったらすぐ受け取ってくれずーっと1ヶ月ほど待っていたらまたパスポートのコピーを送れと言ってきたので（オフィスで見せたのに・・・と思いながら）もう一度パスポートと念の為にビザのコピー、主人のIDのコピーと別紙に詳しく私のステイタスと状況とTAXreturnの期限が迫ってるから早くして欲しいの手紙を添えて出すと1ヵ月半後のTAX
returnの期限の3日前に来ました。ぱっと見て書類がすぐ分かるように説明書きをしてあったのが良かったのかなって思いました。

げげっそんなに時間がかかるのですか！...というかアメリカの役所ならこんなモンだと半ば納得していますが。
やっぱりオフィスに直接いって見ます。

意外なことにITIN来ました(笑
約束どおりの5週間。
パスポートのコピーはnotariseしませんでした。近所の公証人のオフィス2箇所にいって両方とも断られたので、そのまま出してみたのです。
これでやっとTAX RETURNができます。ふ〜〜〜！

おそらく頼み方が悪かっただけです。今思うとシグネチャーのノータライズを頼むのが正しかったのでしょう。パスポートのコピーを作ってtrue copyであることをendorseして欲しいといったから断られたのだと思います。よく考えたらパスポートのコピーには私の署名が載っていますから署名でノータライズしてもらえばよかったわけです。
