こんにちは。今年４月に語学学校に留学予定なのですが、授業料や生活費大金をもって行こうと思っています。なんとかして手数料を安くしたいのですがいい方法ありますか？
日本の銀行はアメリカにはないのですか？やっぱりアメリカの銀行口座を開かないとだめですか？語学学校生でも開けますか？
ぜんぜんわからないので困っています。

私も以前CITIBANKのACCOUNT持っていたけど最低預金額とかいうのがあって、預金額が３０万？？切ると毎月＄２０の手数料が引かれるんですよね。もし違うのだったら教えてください。

Sayoさん、Citibankのアカウントは今でも月額３０万が最低預金額です。
でも、上のほうで話されているJALマイレージバンクのカードのことは知らないですけど。

Citibankの最低預金額は、３０万円です。間違いありません。為替レートは、
http://www.citibank.co.jp/kawase_index.html
を見ればわかります。ただし、こちらでATMから引き出す場合は、TTSにさらに＄１につき２円ほど手数料として上乗せされます。昔はなかったのに・・・、ATMからいつでも預金を引き出せて便利だけど、今はあまりお得じゃありません。

シティバンクのカードを使ってATMでだしたら、125円以上でとられてた！
引き出してから毎日レートをチェックしてたんだけど、一度だって125円になんてならなかったのに。（怒）
まったく全然とくじゃないよ。さいてー。

ところで、親に通帳預けて海外送金っていうのはどうでしょうか？
海外のＡＴＭでおろしたら＄１につき２円かかるということは・・・１.５％以上さらに上乗せして手数料がかかるということですね。せっかく貯めた大金が手数料でとんでいく〜！
