I have been on 2 ， 3 sites other than F/B, but I have not come across anything that looks like a "scam targeting the elderly".

However, there is at least one Spam Call-like incoming message a day on my phone. Most of them are probably investment solicitation calls, but I don't respond to calls from numbers I don't have in Contacts, and some of them are "Scam Likely", which may be a T-Mobile setting, and I leave it ringing when I see it.

The reason why I don't hang up is that when the incoming call is ringing, the computer on the other end seems to think that a live person is doing the hanging up and sets the phone to "call" again next time, and if it keeps ringing, it seems to think that the person is ・ not near the phone. If the phone keeps ringing, it will assume that the person is not around the phone, and if the ringing continues for a number of times, it will automatically disable the setting for the next call. This is completely my own imagination.

Yesterday I climbed the mountain behind our house for the first time in a while.

My top is just a T-shirt but my neck and arms are cold, so no matter how people look at me,

I started climbing with a towel around my neck and sports socks

on my arms with toes cut open, but within 10 minutes I was warm and I took both off.

Yesterday a piece of buried sprinkler PVC pipe leaked and I had to fix it.

I was so exhausted from all the digging and stuff that I took a nap and had a good night's sleep.

I thought I wouldn't be able to sleep at night after my nap, but then I fell asleep again.



Costco gas station always has a long line, so

I got up at 6:00 this morning to go fill up, and there is always a long line

Costco has a large parking lot and there is room for EV charging, but
