私の場合11ヶ月かかりました。
夫が軍人さんの場合はかなり早く受理されるそうで、
周りの人と比べて当時焦りと不安だったのを覚えています。
しかしビザが降りない人はまだ見たことがありませんのでご安心を。

In my case, I did it by myself without a lawyer ！
My husband was in Hawaii and I was in Japan, and my application was approved and I was able to travel to Hawaii within a few months.
I can't say for sure because the visa process and required documents change every year, but it was easy and smooth without hiring a lawyer.
I can't wait to hear from USCIS …
I hope you will be able to meet them as soon as possible.
