こんにちは！私は現在LAに住んでいますが、近い内にサンフランシスコの方に引っ越す事になるかもしれないのですが、サンフランシスコには日本人街の様な場所はありますか？又 LAで言うトーレンスの様な日本人が多い街等あるのでしょうか？治安の面等はどうでしょうか？是非教えて欲しいです！宜しくお願いします！

LAから比べますとSFは違う感じの街かもしれません。LAカウンティーは関東平野と同じくらい大きいですが、SFカウンティーはサンフランシスコ市しか中に存在せず、縦横5マイルもあれば入ってしまうような街です。治安に関しては、全米でも比較的よいとされていますが、勿論、治安の悪い場所もあります。SFにもｼﾞｬﾊﾟﾝｾﾝﾀｰはありますし、日本食のスーパーも結構ありますよ。トーレンスのように日本人が集中して多く住んでいる所はないですかね。SF市内が小さいですから、色々な所に皆さん住んでいるみたいですよ。市内でないならばSF市の周りのベイエリア内での生活になります。市内ならば公共交通がたくさんあるので車は入らないと思いますが、SF市内以外での居住の際は車は必要になってくると思います。

APOLさん詳しく教えて頂いて本当に有難うございます。私達はサクラメントの方に行く事になりそうなのですが どういったところなのでしょうか？もし知っていましたら教えてもらえますか？

サクラメントは特にこれと言った名物が余りない人工都市で、州都です。サクラメント市内は川を挟んで北と南で街が存在します。北の方が比較的治安が良いと言われています。ダウンタウンは南側に存在しており、余りお薦めはしないです。ただ、公共交通がそれほど便利ではないので、車が必要かな〜と思います。私も今、サクラメントにいるわけではないので現在の詳しい状況が分からなくてスイマセン。
