LAは住み安い
NYは住み高いです。
冬は寒く夏は暑い。。。冬マイナス15度C 雪は降る,貴方も寒い
お店渡り歩きで寒さをしのぐ。。飲み代がかかる。
そしてお家と服装におカネがかかります。
お金持ち前線に突入するのですから
マンハッタン??かな
医療費盲腸入院で４００万円（日本は５万円）
おカネがたっぷりおありでしたら若い時はNY
リタイア近くでLA郊外（着るものが余り要らない）
スルメ近くになったら日本の限界集落

NY と LA に天秤にかけてる男だか女かがいてどちらがいいか迷ってるんじゃないの?
そうならこんなところで聞かずにどちらと人生を共にできるかを考えたほうがいいんじゃない?

どちらにお住まいか分かりませんが
ロサンゼルスなら旅行を兼ねてニューヨークに行ってみてください。
日本食レストランなどで住んでいる人からの情報が入ってくるのでは。

私は四季の有る方が好きです、でも湿気が多いですよ。どっちかというと東京に似てます。何となく東海岸の方が人懐っこい様に感じました。

率直に思ったことはロサンゼルスは西海岸、ニューヨークは東海岸。

NYは物価が高いけどセールスタックスはCAとさほど変わらない
９～１１％でガソリンや車レジストレーション、パーキング、運転などの事を考えたら私的には断然NYです。電車の移動は楽だし飲酒運転の心配は無いし、マンハッタンに住まなくてもエルムハーストやブッシュウイック等で住めば家賃は安い。。。
寒い寒いって皆いうけど日本と同じくらいの寒さだし不景気なCAと比べたら景気のいいNYに一票。マンハッタンまで電車一本の一途建てが
カリフォルニアの田舎と同じ４２万と比べてどっちが将来性あるかときかれるとねぇ。。＾＾

電車の移動は楽かもしれませんが
駅から歩いて10分くらいで帰れる距離なら冬でも楽ですが
駅からまたバスに乗って帰るなら
冬の凍てつく寒さの中でバスを待つのも大変ですよ。

NYは地震の心配がありません。GOOD!!!
でもハリケーンはきます。
冬の暖房費もかかる。着るものも同様
車はスタッドレスも必要。。意外と高いです。
バッテリーは雪国仕様必要です。
家もLA仕様は不可。。
雪の重みと降雨に耐える壁 ハリケーンに耐える構造
水道は凍結防止、破裂しない工夫。
ノスタル爺はLAなら生息可能です。
除雪の老力は大変ですよ。。一週間雪と格闘する年も
東海岸は飲みに行ってエリートと会うのが好きな人には向いています。
