Vivinavi Los Angelesビザの更新は有効期限が切れる何か月前からできるのでしょうか?

ご存知の方がいらしたら教えて下さい。
来年の6月にF1ビザが切れますが、最近学校をトランスファーして2015年までのI-20をもらいました。
そこで、有効期限が切れる前にビザ更新（再申請）が可能であれば、今年の冬休みに帰省した際にでもアメリカ大使館に面接に行けるよう準備しようと考えています。
ビザ有効期限が切れるどれくらい前から更新（再申請）できるのかご存知の方、また、同様の経験をされた方がいらしたらお知恵を貸して下さい。
宜しくお願いします。

ビザが切れる何ヶ月か前にならないと再申請できないと聞いたことがあります。
日本のアメリカ大使館に問い合わせてみてはどうですか。

Fビザは事前更新はないと思います。I-20をお持ちならわざわざ日本に帰って更新をするのはお金の無駄なので、日本に帰ったときに申請すればいいと思います。
