現在、フルタイムで働いていますが、出産の時に3ヶ月間政府？から支給されるお金があると聞いた事がありますが、これはどう言う手続きをすれば良いのかご存知の方いらっしゃいましたら教えて頂けませんか？

カリフォルニアで給与所得がある人のほとんどは、ＳＤＩに自動加入していますが、ＳＤＩのかわりに会社や組合などが、州認可の独自のプランを運営している場合もあります。 どちらにしろ、会社のペイロールに名前がのっている従業員であるならば（給与所得がある人ならば）フルタイム、パートにはかかわらず、なんらかのカバーがあると思います。

職場で使っているPCなのですが、PDFファイルを開けた後、必ずプロセスが遅くなり扱いにくくて困っております。PDFファイルをクローズして次のことをしようとしてもフリーズ寸前状態になるか、しばらくほおって置いてやっと動き出してくれるまで待つしかありません。
ですのでPDFファイルを開けるのが憂鬱になってくる始末です。これは何が原因で起こりえるのが予想のつく方いらっしゃいましたら力を貸してください。

とりあえず、PDFファイルを開いた後にCtr+Alt+Deleteで、Task Managerを開いてProcessを押し、CPUとMemoryの欄を見れば何が沢山使っているかわかると思うので、お試しあれ。
それとコンピューターのスペックも気になりますね。

マヤレモン？ママレモンかと思いました。もちろん知りません。柚子のことも尾張薩摩のことも、今回初めて知って書いただけで、詳しいわけではないのです。
でも、知らないことがあるってのが面白いんです。こんな風に書くと知ってることが多いと思われるかもしれませんが、何のナンノ南野陽子。知らないことばかりです。でも調べると「なるほど！そうなんだ！」って喜びがあるでしょ？
だから調べます。興味があればネ。
マヤレモン、調べてみますネ。
ちなみに僕は「ゆず」と「19」の区別がつきません。最近多い男性ボーカルグループとかボイパーグループとかはもっと分かりません。ケミストリーは嫌いです。倖田來未の歌は好きですが、最近まで「デンダミライ」って呼んでました。波田陽区も、「はたよ〜く」なのか「はたえようく」なのか、なんなのか分かりませんでした。小日向文世って人はきれいな女優さんだと思ってました。知らないことって限り無く多いです。

マ、マ、マヤレモン、全然ヒットしません。ライモンも、ライムの木にレモン、またはその逆で接ぎ木して作る果実というところまでしか分かりませんでした。

こちらの方こそごめんなさい。Meyer Lemonと書くそうです。私も何度かネットで調べたのですがヒットしませんでした。ちゃんとしたスペルで記入しなくて本当にごめんなさい。
しかし接ぎ木しているのですね。その木の種類と同じなのかもしれないですね。
調べて欲しいと依頼したのに変な情報与えてしまって。平伏＆頓挫ではありませんよ。
オカマさんの「ママライオン」もそうですが私は「ママレモン」の洗剤を思い出しました。

日本から、二カ国語版のビデオを送ってもらったのですが、再生してみると、英語と日本語の両方で聞こえてしまいます。こちらでは、音声変更は出来ないのでしょうか？又、出来るとすれば、テレビか、ビデオかどちらのリモートで可能なのか、知ってる方いましたら、至急教えてください！！お願いします！

多分 VCRに 音声の選択のボタンがある思います
STEREO, L, R SAP 等等
以下一般的なリモコンの解説です
To listen, you need a television or VCR equipped with Second Audio Program (SAP). Look for a switch on your TV or VCR labeled SAP, MTS, Audio Mode, Second Audio or Second Language. (The switch is often on the TV or VCR remote control).

ビデオ再生時の音声切り替えならば、テレビではなくVCRのほうで切り替えを行うのが普通だと思います。
例えばですが、私はSANYOのVCRを使用しており、MENU→AUDIOといくと、#2さんの仰るような、STEREO、L、R、LRの切り替えができる画面が表示されます。
他メーカーでは、ちょっと方法は異なるかもしれませんが、同じような切り替えができると思いますよ。

ヘロヘロさん、類似さん、どうもありがとうございました！！家は、パナソニックのコントローラーなのですが、正直、お二人の言われたL.Rがどこにあるのかわからず、あちこち触ってたら、SAP/Hi-Fiって所を押すと、L.Rが出てきました。お蔭様で2ヶ国語になりました。本当にどうもありがとうございました！

アメリカに来てから、帽子（キャップ）が必需品になりました。今までは夫と兼用で使っていましたが、そろそろ自分用のキャプが欲しいな〜と思ってます。今気になるのは、A Kurtzの帽子です。自分では、買えるのはネットショッピングとkitsonとしか調べられませんでした。LAまでは遠いし、実際に試着してから購入したいと思っているので、どなたかオレンジカウンティ近郊で、A kurtz商品を販売しているお店を知っていたら、ぜひ教えてください！
