アパートの蟻駆除のために２日間アパートを退去せよとの通知がありました。２日分のＲＥＮＴを返すが、ホテル代を出すことはできない。これは法律で決まっているからとのオーナーの一点張りですが、２日分のレントで２日泊まれるホテルなんてそうはありませんし、一週間後の事なので便利なホテルはもういっぱいです。そんな法律あるのでしょうか！？ アパート全体の駆除でアパートを数日空けるという経験された方がいらっしゃいましたらお知恵をかしていただけませんか？

家賃は日割りで返してくれるはずです。ホテル代は無論自腹ですよ〜、泊まる所によって値段が違いすぎますしね。EXPEDIA.COMとかだと安く探せますよ。
食料品などを害虫駆除時専門用の袋に密封するのをお忘れずに。

家賃返さないところも多いようですよ。
何故ならテナントの荷物は置いてある訳だし、部屋を使用している事に変わりはないから、という考え方があるようです。

＞何故ならテナントの荷物は置いてある訳だし、部屋を使用している事に変わりはないから、という考え方があるようです。
賃貸する時カリフォルニアではちゃんと住める状況であるというのが条件に入っているはずですよ。害虫駆除中は住める状況でないので日割りで家賃を返してもらうのは当然の権利だと思いますしが・・・主張すれば回収できるはずです。荷物を置いているので部屋を使用していると言うなら逆に日割り家賃から日割りSTORAGE代分を引いた額を最低でも請求するべきでは？自分だったら断固全額（日割り分）請求しますけどね。

こんなことでトピックたててしまってすいません（苦笑）１年前に聞いた曲で、日本人、若めの女性歌手の曲なのですが誰の歌でタイトルはなんだったのか今でも気になっていて仕方ないんです。歌詞もあまりわからないのですが・・・たしかこんなんです。。。
（始まり、さびの部分） LOVE FOR YOU 全てー 夏が近づくたびー 変わらないよ この思いは （わからない部分）こんな感じがもう１度さびの部分で繰り返されるんですが。。。
もしこれかな？と思い当たる曲があれば教えてください！！

今月の中旬から知り合いの息子さんがこちらに語学留学してきます。取り合えずルームメートかホストファミリーが見つかるまで、家で預かる事になりました。そこで教えてください。
１. 学生ビザで来るのですがソーシャルセキュリティーはどうやってとるのですか。留学生用のがあると聞きました。
２. ソーシャルセキュリティーがないと銀行口座、携帯電話の契約、免許の習得等できないですよね？
３. ２２歳の男子ですが、中古車を購入した場合、保険が必要になりますよね。どこか親切で、リーズナブルな料金の保険会社を教えていただけませんか？ できれば日本語のつかえるところ。
よろしくお願いします。

なんかはじめのほう嫌みっぽいねぇ。
トピ主さんはステイタスが学生ではないから知らないんじゃん？
それと、結構アメリカのDMVとかって対処が悪くて人によって言うことちがったりたらいまわしとかするからびびなびは学生が多いからココで聞いたら早いと思ったんじゃん？
とりあえず、生活が安定するまで責任を預けられてたら自分の子供なら自力でやらせられるかもしれないけど他人の子を預かるとなると慎重になるのはしょうがないと思う。まぁまぁその辺考慮してあげようよ。

ランチタイムに慌てて書いていたら、校正する前にポストされてしまいました。
失礼しました。
このSlingboxというのを日本の実家のコンピューターにつないだら、見たい日本の番組をこちらから操作してＨＤに録画して、ブロードバンドでこちらに転送してアメリカで日本のテレビ番組を見れるように出来るのでしょうかね？
物理的に考えたら十分可能だと思うのですが、一番簡単な設定方法をご存知の方、知恵を分けてくれませんか？

リサイクルショップは分からないのですが、北中城の安い家具屋《名前忘れてしまったけど・・》配達も安くしてくれるし。難アリの家具も結構あって、そういうのは、かなり安かったような気がしますよ！

北中城にある家具屋の名前は「TO GO OK！」だよ。あそこは難あり家具がそろっていて、普通に新品を買うよりは安いけど、とことん安く買いたいならやっぱり個人から中古で買うことでしょう。北谷町美浜のジャスコの掲示板には本土へ引き上げる方などがベッドとかテーブル、冷蔵庫、洗濯機、パソコン、車など結構安くで出してますよ！！でも配達は無理かも・・・

少々お尋ねしたいのですが、私はDSLとHome Phoneの両方ともVerizonを使っているのですが、セキュリティの工事の関係（Verizon側の一方的なもの）Home Phoneを1週間ぐらい止められました。
これって、アメリカでは何の補償もなく普通の事なのでしょうか？
こういう経験がある人がいましたら教えてください。

来月の請求書に1週間分がCREDITとして載っていなければVERIZONに連絡し請求するべきです。それ以上の保障はないでしょう。

やはり、一週間分だけなのですね。でも、もし私が、電話を使う仕事だったら、大変な補償になるのではないかとも思ったもので。
実際は、ほとんど被害はなかったのですが。DSLは正常でしたから。
