I am a resident of Burbank.
As for maternity hospitals, Huntington Hoapital in Pasadena is well equipped and can handle any type of birth.
I found a doctor at Fair Oaks Women's Health.
Huntington and Fair Oaks Women's Health recommend natural birth, so they don't want to rush you into a C section just because of the time it takes to get out of there. I had to wait over 3 hours for the actual final push, but they let me deliver normally instead of C section.
However, unless you have good insurance, I think the cost here is higher than other places, especially for labor at Huntington hospital.

Three or four years ago, a similar topic came up, so I went to Balboa Park to check it out and found that there were no old cherry trees in full bloom, but only a few newly planted shrubs.

I put the photos I took at that time in the "Machikado Photo Album" here on Bibi, but when I went into the "Machikado Photo Album" now, I couldn't find it because it was so many years ago and it had gone far back.

Even if the cherry trees I saw then are growing, they are not in such numbers that I would be able to do "hanami" (cherry blossom viewing), so I think I should give up on "hanami".

Hello, I have been trying to call the PUA for almost a month now. I have been trying to call PUA for almost a month now and finally got through.
It's been about 2 months since I made the request for backdate payment, and the PUA told me that they have not started the review process yet, so I have to wait a little longer.

I sent a message to the comment section of Governor Ige's official site a week ago, but no message from him either.

There are two checkpoints regarding eligibility for Stimulus Checks.
The first is that the person is an American or Resident Alien.
The second is that the person's income must be below a certain amount.

Therefore, the IRS determines these two conditions and
automatically pays those who qualify.

Regardless of what visa you came to the US on in August 2020,
if you were assigned to the US on an E visa,
you would have stayed only 5 months by the end of the year, so the 183 day rule would apply and you would have to pay 1040NR （ EZ ） and you will have to file
. In other words, you are a Non Resident Alien and do not meet the eligibility requirements.

The second income amount, even if you came to the U.S. in August after obtaining permanent resident status, the earliest the IRS will recognize your income
as a basis for determining eligibility is your 2020
tax return, so unless you have filed that return, the IRS will not be able to determine your eligibility. Therefore, the IRS will not be able to determine
eligibility until that return is filed.

If you are a Permanent Resident, come to the US in August 2020, work and earn
income, and that income is less than the required amount, and you make a
tax return by the end of February of this year, you will be eligible for at least a third
Stimulus Check. Stimulus Check, but not
if you are on a regular visa.
