Jikoen Hongwanji Lumbini Preschool has mostly Japanese teachers and they can teach you quite well in Japanese.

It seems that the government is dividing the wealthy (Market Price) and the common people (Affordable) in the same condominium in order to prevent the deterioration of public safety. The lower floors may be Affordable.

Affordable units can be bought for about $250,000 less depending on the property, but some of them do not have access to a gym.

Since Corona, many investors and remote workers have moved to Hawaii, and
single-family homes have skyrocketed. Condos have also gone up.

Hawaii is an island, so I think of it as comfortable country living.
It cannot be compared to a Japanese place. It is totally different from Japan.

The reason I started this topic is because I told someone who lives in Japan that I live near Waikiki but rarely go there and he wondered why I don't go there. ？ I thought it was Asakusa, but I wondered if there was a better analogy.

Waikiki is Shinjuku ？
Shinjuku has an image of crime with many yakuza and adult entertainment
Then I thought of Asakusa ？ but
Asakusa still has an image of Showa-style coffee shops where you can smoke inside and

Airport pickup is usually the way to go. You can pick up in one shot. You shouldn't have to do several rounds unless you accidentally passed by it or something.

彼はまだ日本におりというのは3歳の息子さんの事ですか？質問主さんは今ハワイにいるのでしょうか？今から探して7月から通えるプリスクールは見つからない思います。もしかしたら特殊な所があれば受け入れてもらえるかもしれませんが。普通は学校が始まる1年前位にはもう定員が埋まっている所がほとんどだと思います。
予防接種に関しては息子さんがお世話になる小児科を決めて、そこのドクターにアドバイスを貰う事になるのでは無いでしょうか？

Here is the information about the immunization shots when my son came to Hawaii in 2018 at the age of 4.

MR, mumps, and chickenpox are live vaccines in Japan, so we had to re-give inactive vaccines.

Hib is covered by one MMRV （ combined measles, mumps, rubella, and chickenpox ） in Hawaii.

As a result, the inoculations I had in Japan were much wasted.
Even if I had received all the routine inoculations, I would have had to get 4 additional inoculations: 1 quadruple combination DPT-IPV, 1 MMRV, 1 measles, and 1 Hib.

In my case, I myself had come to HA first and consulted with the pediatrician, but was told that I could not proceed until he arrived
My husband and son arrived,
I requested the shots along with the physical examination to be submitted to the preschool,
and checked them against my mother-child book. I checked it against my mother's health handbook and got the necessary inoculations3.

Central Union can get you in if you donate money. There are many Japanese children who are expatriates and come in halfway through the year. The local resident group has an exam every year in January, but there are no children who come in from the middle of the year because they are expatriates or something. Recently in the last three or four years, the popularity of the school has decreased and if they take the exam, they all pass, so that may have something to do with it.

We got in without any test or interview. ！
Since I didn't understand English very well, a Japanese speaking person from Central Union accompanied me to visit the school.

When I arrived in Hawaii, I made an appointment to visit the school and was allowed to tour the school. I visited a pediatrician who speaks Japanese and got a certificate for necessary vaccinations. I showed my MCH handbook to the pediatrician and everything went smoothly, including the missing vaccinations ？ ！.
