Topic. posted on June 17. As of today （ September 12 ） I still have not received my 10 year renewal Green Card, I contacted USCIS on their website on August 6, but have not received a response. I have not received a reply yet.　　Fingerprinting March 20, 2021

I applied about the same time as Topy and haven't received it yet. It's been about 19 months now. I wonder how long it will take.
I have already had my Japanese passport stamped twice at the USCIS downtown office.
I have been abroad twice now, including Japan. However, both times I was sent to a different room when I came back to the US.
This second stamp will expire next month, so I think I need to make an appointment soon. They accept appointments 30 days in advance when the stamp expires.
The last time I did this, it took a while to even get an appointment. I will get another call from USCIS to make an appointment, but if I don't answer the call, it will take longer again.
All the people who applied a little before me and a little after me have already received their cards.

Pancho, Update, and Update Haya yo. Topic. I applied for renewal last year on January 25, 2021, and my fingerprints were taken on March 20 of that year.
What has happened since then ？ I have not been granted a green card extension yet.

#31 I see a link to the FBI site, is this in regards to fingerprints ？

I-90 application status is checked at https://myaccount.uscis.gov/. I would like to know if there are others.

I applied in April, but when I checked the status at the beginning of September on the above site,
biometrics appointment ＝ ＝ ＞ approx. 2 Weeks
so I was expecting some movement soon. I was expecting that there would be some movement soon.　I just checked and to my surprise
Your next milestone: receive your biometrics appointment notice. I am disappointed that this is the current reality of USCIS.

I called USCIS today to schedule an Infopass appointment and within 30 days I will get a call from an Officer to put in a date and time for the appointment. I am not sure when that call will come and if I fail to answer two calls, I am out. I call USCIS again to set up an appointment to get another call from the Officer. （ I have done this before. Worst case scenario it takes 60 days ）
If you get a call and successfully make an appointment, you can go to the Local Office and have your I-551 stamped in your Japanese passport. （ This will be your proof of permanent residence as well as GC - you can work and leave the country ）
I asked why since it has been 19 months already and they told me to send a request to ask why. I sent that and they said they would contact me within 30 days.
They will tell us why at that time.

Status says that you can inquire about your status via the link below. However, the link also says that you should check your normal process time （, which is currently 13 months ）, and only after that can you inquire.　If it is 19 months, I think you are past this period.

The main reasons for rejection of the extension are listed below. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

You Committed a Crime
You Provided Incorrect Information or Intentionally Lied on Your Renewal Application .
You Were Ordered Removed (deportation).
You Used the Wrong Form.
You Applied Too Early... ...
You've Traveled Too Much. ...


Another question, the I-551 is stamped 6 ～ 12 months from the date you applied for the I-551 ？ right?

Infopass 1, when you get your I-551 stamped, it is filled out for 6 months or 1 year. I had 6 months the first time and 1 year the second time. That will be expiring soon.

If I am in the process of applying for an I-90 extension and never leave the US, such as Japan, can I just do nothing and wait for my Green Card even if it takes years ？ Sorry for the basic question.

My personal opinion is that the fact that Topi's wife has been fingerprinted means that she has completed the document review process. Maybe the proof of fingerprints has not been properly processed in the I-90 Application. Since USCIS has already been contacted, I am sure some action will be taken. I guess we will have to wait and see, but if there has been no response in the two months since the last contact, why not contact them again and say that the ＜ fingerprinted ＞ application has not yet been assembled.　The process times seem to be mixed and hit or miss.

I also applied for renewal in January 2021, same as Tobiman, but my 12 month extension expired in July this year and I got an Infopass(1年延長 ）), but yesterday I received a new I-797 from USCIS and it says 24 months extension from the expiration date. I check the USCIS website every week, but still no progress. By the way, I have not been fingerprinted or photographed.

Good morning TJR and Pancho. I feel bad because my wife's permanent residence extension was Approved before yours. But I am hot. I was wondering what I would do if it was rejected.

My wife and I applied for permanent residence on January 25, 2021, fingerprinting was done on March 20, 2021, and only my permanent residence was received at the end of March 2021. However, my Green Card has arrived but I have not opened it yet. I have not told my wife about the Approved 10 year extension of my Permanent Resident status in order to avoid upsetting her.

I am wondering what is the Expiration Date of my wife's Green Card and my Expiration Date which will be received soon, I will report back when the Green Card arrives.

My Permanent Residency was filed from H-1b-1 Visa, category 3. It took 9 years from application to approval for permanent residence. My wife's permanent residence was in addition to my application which was pending.
My first lawyer was a Korean lawyer who used to advertise frequently in Free Paper with the slogan "We are on fire ！", but they may have been trying to hide their mistakes in the application process, and before I knew it, they withdrew my Permanent Residence application without my permission. We had hired a lawyer with a catchphrase of "". I had paid $ 10,000 for the fee, and it ended up in vain.
