Vivinavi Los Angeles日本人らしい英語の間違い

長いアメリカ生活のなかで、いかにも日本人らしいオカシイ英語をたくさん見たり聞いたりしてきました。
ALOEをAROEだと思っている人や、BUD LIGHTをBUD RIGHT,SPRITEをSPLITE,MATERIALを
MATEREAL、と書く人など。
ドジャース・スタジアムや、ヤンキース・スタジアムなどと誤って認識している人も多いですね（笑）。
ドジャー・スタジアム、ヤンキー・スタジアムなのに・・・。
ROSECRANSをローズクランスと言う日本人もとても多いけど、正しくは”ローズクラン”です。最後のSは、読まないものなんです。
みなさんのそんな経験を聞かせてください。

サンフランシスコのことは、みなさんなんて言っていますか?
ちなみにわたしは馴染みのアメリカ人と話すときはフリスコ、日本人と話すときはちょっと長いけどサンフランシスコって言ってます。
現地の日本人には”サンフラン”て呼んでる人がけっこういますけど、なんかフワフワしたデザートの名前みたいでちょっと好き。
サンノゼ・サンホゼも人によって分かれますよね。

昔流行った曲で今でもラジオでかかる"War"の
"シスコキッド"は「サンフランシスコのやつ」てなかんじでしょ。
フリスコは言いますね、サンフランは聞いたこと私はありません。

エネルギッシュって、これも完全な和製英語ですよね。
英語では Energetic エナージェティックです。
(俗) Peppy もよく使われると思います。
これ以外にも同じ意でよく使われる単語はありますか。自分ではフッと出てこないんですけど。
