We are considering renovating the kitchen in our condo. It is a small kitchen, so commercial cabinets won't fit. I got a quote from Home Depot for $16,000 for just the cabinets. With countertops, appliances, and the constructor's fee, it will be about $25,000. ∑ (ﾟ Д ﾟ )
Knowing how well thought out and modern Japanese cabinetry is, I honestly don't want to spend this amount on an orthodox cabinet design that hasn't been updated in decades.
Also, Godern cabinet company quoted us less than half the price of Home Depot if we use all the standard ready-made cabinets, but the material inside the cabinets is of a certain quality (the mirror surface is good quality, so it looks good), so it looks like it will not be durable ＆.
