Hello.

I am a man in my early 30s currently working in Japan.
I have always wanted to work in the U.S. and am considering taking a trainee job on a J1 visa to gain experience.

This program is called the American version of the work-holiday, but what is it really like?
Actually, I had planned to travel to the U.S. in the past but had to give it up because of corona. I work in the tour industry. Compared to people from other countries, Japanese people tip extremely little. I have completed my OPT and received my nursing license. So even if I find a job, I cannot work immediately because I do not have a work permit.
