あー、懐かしい。そういえばそんな所ありましたねー。
前にＳａｎＤｉｅｇｏにいて何度かＬ．Ａに来る時通りましたが１度も止められたコト無いですよ。知り合いにも止められた人とかいなかったですね。

主に食物、果物、ドラッグと密入国の取り締まりです。普通の車乗っていてメキシコ人でなければとめられることは少ないけど、
ぼろぼろの車で、おかしい感じだととめられてチェックうけるかも、その時パスポート必要ですよ。

旅行者じゃなくて、勤めてるとか学生で、毎日会社や学校にパスポート持参してる人なんていますか？
盗難される方が怖いと思うんだけど。
