泊まっているホテルのコインロッカーの鍵を無くしてしまいました・・・。
フロントにそのことを伝えに行ったのですが、「スペアキーはない」と言われました。
どーすりゃいいんだ・・・。
日本語の通じる鍵屋さんを教えていただけませんか?
ロッカーの中には、メインのバックパッックが・・・。
あ〜やってしまった。

日本から知り合いが来てホテルに滞在していた時
チェックアウトする日の朝朝食に行っている間に
貸し金庫のパスワードが変更されたらしく
開けられなくなりフロントに連絡、
メンテナンスの係りが来て
小さな機械を使ってパスワードを解除して開けてくれた。
パスワード変更するなら部屋のキーをフロントに持って行った時に
してくれればよいのに、とぶつぶつ言っていたようです。

チップ社会の常識
アメリカには奴隷制度の落ち目から人間は何人も対等の精神

まず２０ドルくらいのチップを渡し
”Master key please!!”
か
”ロッカーを開けてください！！重要な荷物を取りたい”
これで済みます。
日本語の通じる鍵屋さんより早く安いです。

鍵のタイプならスペアーが無いのはよくあること
すでに無くされていて最後の１個だったとか
鍵を壊して取り出す必要があるでしょ
モーテルなら、部屋の金庫の鍵がすでに穴開けられてるのなんかしょっちゅう見るし
単にフロントで鍵無くしたからといえばメンテナンスの人が壊してくれると思いますよ。もちろん実費かかるでしょうが。
＃４の例は単に朝飯の前にチェックアウトしちゃったからでしょ。その可能性９９％
