I have ＄ 10th place credit on Skype and use it for international calls to Japan and when I go back to Japan temporarily. I have a US Skype account, so if I make a call from Japan to a landline or cell phone in Japan via Skype, I am charged for the US outgoing call, but it's a small fee. I have not obtained a Skype number, so the other party cannot call me, but I have no problem making outgoing calls from here. If you have the app on your phone, you can call from anywhere you have internet access.

I'm sorry I still don't understand, when I click on the "Call" part, I see friends calling from line to line, but it doesn't look like I can write to a landline 😭.
