もうThanksgivingが終わればクリスマスですね。
私はアメリカでのクリスマスは初めてなのですが、クリスマスはお店も全部閉まってつまらないと聞きました。
せっかくの連休だし、どこかへ行こうと考えているのですが・・・やっぱり家でお祝いをするという感じなのですか？
皆さんのお勧めの場所があったらぜひぜひ教えてください。LA市内でも楽しめるのでしょうか？

クリスマスは家でゆっくりして、クリスマス後の大セールに力をためておきます。（笑
アメリカではクリスマス＝家族単位のイベントって感じが強いから、日本のように「性なる夜」にはならないようだね。（笑

↑田舎の方までいっちゃうと、場所によってはガススタでさえ、閉めちゃうところもあるくらいだからねー。ほんと、昔の日本のお正月みたいだよ。家族揃って初詣が、家族揃って教会へ、みたいな。

普通のお店は大概閉まってますよ。日本のお正月みたいな雰囲気。
でもクリスマス開けて次の日は、どこも大セールなので、買い物のチャンスかも。。
ディズニーランドとか行けば別と思います。

そうなんですか・・・。Thanksgivingのあけた週末も朝から結構セールをやるみたいですね。
そんなに安いならすごく行ってみたいです。
全部しまっちゃうってことは、皆さんはどうクリスマスを過ごすのですか？
ビデオを借りてきて観るとか、そんなかんじなのですかね・・・。
ディズニーランドのクリスマスは混むのかな。

セールはThanksgiving明けの方が収穫は大きいと思います。冬物もまだあるし、そもそもアメリカ人はこの機会にXmasプレゼントを揃える。Xmas明けのセールは残り物中心。
