クリスマスはどこもかしこも閉店状態と聞きました！ガイドブックを開いても同様です。みなさんどうやって過ごすのですか?ロンドン脱出をするんでしょうか?里帰りも出来ず、クリスマス直後のバーゲンにも興味なし、となれば寝正月ならぬ寝クリスマスを過ごすしかなんでしょうかねえ。ちょこっと足を伸ばしで出かけられるとこととかないでしょうか?こうやって過ごしたよ～等々の体験談＆アドバイスあったら教えてください！

読んでいて懐かしくなりました。私も以前ロンドンに長年住んでいた時にあの暗い暗い陰気臭いクリスマスが大嫌いでした。
みんなイギリス人達はみんな家族以外はシャットアウトって
感じが強いし。大概の日本人達は日本に帰国するか他の国に旅行に行くかでした。わけがあってイギリスにいないといけない場合はあったかいバスに浸かって本を読むとかDVD三昧の日を送る。日ごろあんまり作れない手の込んだ料理を作るとか
で何とか過ごしてました。
他の国にクリスマスで旅行に行くと悲しくなるほど明るいしお店もオープンしてますよ。
要はイギリスはクリスマスを過ごすにはあんまり良くない国ですって事です。
みんな日本人は逃げるようにイギリスから出てました。
クリスマスにイギリスにいたら死んじゃうーって言ってた
人もいたほどです。
今から対策を練ることをお勧めします

わかります さん。ありがとうございます！そうですか・・・やはりですねえ～。う～ん、国外脱出の予算が組めるかどうか検討します。格安国内バスツアーなんてこの時期はないんでしょうねえ。友人がこちらを訪問してくれる話も持ち上がってはいるんですが、それはそれでじゃあどこに寝てもらえるか?という問題も有り（笑）色々複雑です。あまりよいプランのなかった時は冬眠クリスマスを過ごし、その後は屋外スケートリンクめぐりぐらいしかなさそうですね（涙）、来年の冬は早めに里帰りを計画することにします。
