先日アメリカの歯医者に行きました。今までは日本に帰国の際にだけチェックアップを受けて特に大きな問題はなかったのですが、アメリカ人の歯医者さんに「親知らずを抜いたほうがいい」と進められました。
日本の歯医者さんは私の親知らずはとても真っ直ぐなのでブラッシングをきっちりすると虫歯の心配もないので抜く必要は無いといわれておりましたが、今回はじめてアメリカ人の歯科医に抜歯をすすめられ悩んでいます。アメリカのデンティストは親知らずを抜くのが好きだと聞いたことがありますが、いうとおりにしたほうがいいいのでしょうか?ここの歯科医は友達のご家族が経営しているので信頼できるし料金もとても良心的なので支払いなどの心配はないのですが、抜いた時の痛みや腫れなどが気になります。もしアメリカでは抜くのが当たり前というだけの理由であればできれば抜歯は避けたいと考えております。
アドバイスよろしくお願いいたします。

どなたかお勧めのクリニック教えてください。
あとお値段なんかも相場などありますか?

皆さん色々と情報有難うございます。やはり様子を見ることにします。ちなみに私の歯科医の値段は保険が80％カバーするので個人負担は1本60ドルといわれました。アメリカでの相場はもう少し高いと思います。日本の国民保険がある人は日本で抜いたほうが安いですね。

看護師です。
その親知らずが悪さしないのであれば、抜かないことをお勧めします。
私自身数年前に日本で抜歯しましたが、特に理由もなく化膿して開口障害になり、緊急入院に至りました。
膿を放置すると胸まで下がり、緊急OPも必要でした。
また、普通の人は平気ですが、免疫力が下がった患者さんが親知らず抜歯して化膿して最終的に敗血症になり亡くなったそうです。

こちらの歯医者は抜歯を勧めるようです。ただまっすぐに生えていて虫歯でないのでしたら 抜歯しなくても良いのではないでしょうか?もし将来虫歯になったらそのときに。
私は日本で歯科衛生士をしていたので 日本ではよく歯科大学の口腔外科で親知らずを抜歯するケースを知っています。
あなたの場合はきっと簡単であまり痛んだり はれたりしないと思いますから 抜くのも問題ないんじゃないでしょうか

常に清潔にしてたら、抜く必要は無いと思います。
抜かなくはならない時に抜くことです。お金だってもったいないでしょう?
