わたしはカレッジ生で働いてないからナンバーがないんですけど、なんか法律が変わってSSNがとりやすくなったって聞いたんですけど、どう変わったか詳しく知ってる人っていませんか？

SS#は最近、取りにくくなってます。
ビザによっては発行してもらえません。
非移民ビザのカテゴリーで、労働許可書の無いビザ（FとかMビザ）は発行されにくくなってます。
これは、アメリカ連邦政府が昨年のテロ以降SS#を発行に関する規定を発表したことによります。

でも良く考えたら、
留学ビザへの規制が厳しくなるって時なのに、
SSNがとりやすくなるっていうのは
やっぱおかしいですね。。
