永住権保持者です。
６月から日本に滞在していますが、コロナや家族の看病等でこのまま日本にしばらく滞在することになりそうです。しかし、再入国許可の申請をせずにアメリカを出発してしまいました。調べた結果、Re-Entry Permitの申請する時にはアメリカ国内から申請しなければいけないというルールは確認済みです。１２月に一度アメリカへ戻る予定があるので、なんとかそのタイミングで指紋採取できるようにしたいと考えています。
日本にいながら申請することは可能なのかご存じの方がいればお知らせ願います。たとえば弁護士に依頼すれば日本にいながら申請することも可能なのでしょうか？

失業率を下げようとしているので
雇われる側は永住権を持っている外国人は後回しにされそう。
貰うものを貰っていても終わる頃に仕事を探し
見つからなかったらどうするんだろう。
